Director, Institute of Motion
Michol Dalcourt is an internationally recognized, industry leading expert in human movement and performance. He is the founder and Director of the Institute of Motion, inventor of the fitness tool “ViPR” and co-founder of PTA Global. As an international lecturer and educator, Michol has authored numerous articles on human design and function, developed a series of performance videos and created and athletic model for high performance training (the RMA model).
Programming Officer, Performance Coach, Mentor and International Presenter
In his role at World Health, John inspires his clients to enjoy exercise in an exuberant environment. John also mentors trainers on how to structure a profitable business by meeting the aspirations of their clients in a group setting.
He is a Master Trainer for Technogym, ViPR, Power Plate, Hyperwear, and Institute of Motion, and is most proud of his accomplishment as Faculty for PTA Global. As an experienced and energetic presenter, he provides a playful learning environment in which the complex seems simple.
John lives in Edmonton Alberta with his wife Lisa and golden retriever Jersey. The Sinclair family enjoys relaxing, boating and paddling at their house at Lake Diefenbaker Saskatchewan.
Derrick Price has been active on many levels in the fitness industry for over a decade. He holds a Masters of Science in Exercise Science and Health Promotion with an emphasis on injury prevention and performance enhancement from the California University of Pennsylvania where he has also spent time as an Adjunct Faculty member teaching courses in Exercise Program Design. Aside from personal training at the acclaimed Function First exercise studio in San Diego, CA, Derrick also is a Master Trainer for ViPR, PowerPlate, Core-Tex ,Technogym, Hyperwear and the Institute of Motion. He began his educational career as a Master Instructor for the National Academy of Sports Medicine and has since moved on to become a Faculty Member for the Personal Training Academy (PTA) Global.
Derrick currently resides in San Diego, CA where he enjoys many outdoor activities such as hiking, trail-running, disc golf and a variety of other sports.
Information Officer, Exercise Physiologist
Derek Vandenbrink, MA, is a professor in health, wellness and fitness at Mohawk College in Ontario, Canada, a Certified Exercise Physiologist, the Information Officer for the Institute of Motion, and a function & well-being coach. Previously, Derek held positions as a personal training manager, personal trainer, athletic conditioning specialist. He holds a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology and a master’s degree in physical education and recreation, specializing in youth athlete development.
Pete McCall, MS, CSCS
Pete holds an MS in Exercise Science and Health Promotion, and a Fellow of Applied Functional Science from the www.grayinstitute.com. He is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through www.nsca.com, and holds CPT and specialist certifications through www.nasm.org. Pete is also a CPT with www.acefitness.org, where he consulted on the development of the ACE IFT program design model and continuing education programming for fitness professionals.
In his role as Science Officer for the Institute of Motion, Pete mines new and established research to collect evidence of the merits (or faults) of the various arguments, approaches, styles and techniques of movement.
