If estrogen is suppressed, we may not see the usual spikes of Estrogen and therefore need to recognize more time may be needed between bouts of exercise. Also, PMS Symptoms may be altered or removed altogether, meaning fewer recovery sessions may be needed near menstruation.
All women react differently to the various birth control options and therefore the AHHPS must work closely with the client to best understand what programming modifications need to be made to accommodate the individual.
