Cooldowns are often overlooked but should also be considered when creating a workout as it is the first exposure of recovery after a bout of stress. We use Mobility and/or Regen strategies as part of a cooldown.
Mobility can be used to combat repetitive exercise, exposing the client to quadrants not utilized in the workout.
Regen is also ideal as these strategies help to restore homeostasis and kickstart the recovery process. Restorative Poses with Breathwork is one of our favorite techniques.
