Managing Training Load 05:20

With an increase in structured practice and competition and training, we must manage the total amount of time spent playing sport at different levels. We all have a certain tolerance of stress that we can manage. If we do not manage that stress (training load) certain domains of health and human performance will suffer. John will walk us through how he manages training load in athletes and how restoring energy in the short term can be the easiest way to offset acute bouts of training. Manipulating programming on-demand can be the greatest skill you have as a coach.
