The idea of successful aging is not exclusive to the older adult population. In fact, due to an ever-increasing sedentary lifestyle, we are starting to see a loss of function and movement capability at much earlier ages.
The AHHPS can help an individual achieve and sustain 3 primary strength qualities that are imperative for successful aging for all adults free of disease or disability:
1) Ground to Standing (which includes pushing up off the ground and then transitioning to a standing posture)
2) Bend and Lift a Mass
3) Lift and Shift a Mass
