Primary programming considerations for Trans Male Health include
- Mitigating the long term effects of exogenous hormone therapy
- Mitigating the decline in estrogen production
- Managing stress and inflammation
Anatomically, expect to see an increase in muscle size and strength, a reduction and redistribution in bodyfat while the pelvis remains cis female (wide).
Variable 4Q programming is recommended.
A common goal for a Trans Male is to increase muscle size and strength, so a muscle-focused hypertrophy program may be needed (See AHHPS Level 1).
