Functional Squat

A traditional squat is a vertical movement of the body. If we place our feet wide and move laterally (side), it will be a more horizontal squat.

We can perform a squat in all three planes of motion, and the main characteristic of a squat is that feet remain static.

In this lesson, we are adding a load to the body; therefore, we will practice squatting with feet parallel.

We can also place one foot in front of the other or preposition in a split stance.
